Default Rubbish customer service...

I have had it with airflo/fishtec... i bought a pair of waders 3 years back which to cut a long story short end up leaking within the year .. i return them, they replace them... and so the cycle continues.

i go on my hols to wenslydale on friday, no waders, so i phoned them and was told they will be dealt with when they finish their stock take in 2 weeks time.. just when i get back... cracking customer service... i have NEVER come across this before.. they told be they basically stop trading for 2 weeks to stock take.. friging hillbillys

so B0ll0ks to you fishtec you will never see a red cent of my hard earned ever again

so i will have to find a pair of waders before i can fish.. another hundred quid...

sorry chaps.. rant over

Let me get this straight Martin, you have technically had three years out of the initial purchase then?

The Pirate.

Rant all you want, it's a good way for me to figure out who not to do business with. I have two companies over there that I am looking to replace.

i have, however i have not had a pair of airflops last more than maybe 10 outings...

so if i had bought them and worn them every day for a week and a half and they had failed.. three times in a row would i be more or less justified in complaining ??
not fit for purpose... combined with (in my opinion) a bad attitude towards putting it right..

FISHTEC.....
I ordered a couple of spare spools for a reel from them in June, they told me they were out of stock, due in the end of the month. I rang back then and was told end of July. At the end of June I was told it would be mid August. Just rang them again and now it is some time in September.
Never again.

I believe the 1 year warranty applies to the original item sold and not subsequent replacement items.

In other words - even if they gave you a third pair, that pair would only have the warranty balance of the original purchase. If that was not the case, they would be continually supplying, at least the cheaper waders/equipment/parts for ever

Surprised that they have been supplying waders to you after all this time to be honest, so does that then make them a good supplier!!

No doubt some one with more expertise than I will keep us all correct on this issue?
