Default NO TAKES!

i was stillwater fishing last night and just before dark there was the best rise ive ever seen the water was bubbling with trout. trouble was they wouldnt take anything out of my fly box and i tried the lot. they seemed to be taking just under the surface. a mate at work had the same experience on the brenig but got the better of them with a dabbler, the one fly i didnt have in my box. i am going to tie some, but would like some suggestions on size and colour as i have never used them before. still wondering though what they might be feasting on i threw in a few suspender buzzers but no takers.

Gauranteed to be Caenis, tiny wee white flies.

I've had results stripping a hopper or Daddy across the top when it's like this.
