I have not done one of those yet, but life has more in store for me. I am glad that I have self sealing fingers, especially when I am using the real small hooks.

On the eyelid but didn't stick. Really windy day combined with inexperience and a really bad cast made the leader wrap itself around my head and SPLAT!!! Luckily I closed my eyes in time. Took my time after that.

Last week I was boating two anglers in the world cup competition on lough Mask when one of the anglers managed to firmly embed a size ten dabbler into my cheek, that was fun. Took a little bit of surgery with a pair of pliers on an island at lunch time to remove that one.
Hooking my self, well the point of my snout and a size ten bibio had a comming together many years ago and that was dam sore but you live and learn and hopefully become a better caster...

Sea trout fishing in Denmark - had to go to hospital with a shrimp hanging from my nose - the nurses were amused.
