Hi ALL'

I'm looking for some advise, on what package to get; and which company to get it with? Actually it's for my Daughter! She has recently moved to Barnes in London, she is considering the Virgin, Broadband, Phone & TV package, but they are very expensive! she is also considering the BT Vision Package : B/Band Phone TV? But not heard very positive feedback about BT.

She would go with Sky, but the area or Landlord wont allow a Sky Dish on the building!

Anyone with some help or advise on BT Vision Package? Good or bad! Or maybe someone knows of another good package for that area of London?

Mostyn,
think you will find the virgin the best bet ,have been with them for a decade very few problems ,excellent broad band as they are on fibre optic ,unlike bt who are mainly on wire!

Have a look at this website and look at Speed In My Area for Broadband, it might give you some indication. I'd steer clear of BT though.

I have used virgin for years and am very happy.

Plus i dont think in the end the package is that expensive. Plus reliability wise, when I worked from home I had 1 day in 3 years where the internet was a bit shaky.

because when M goes to his daughters he wants to be able to get on here ...which erm has a lot to do with fly fishing ,not that its any of your buisness anyway

I'm with O2 in Sheffield - no TV package I'm afraid but then I rarely watch it. My average Broadband speed is around 6.5 Mbps, a little better, and cheaper, than the 330 kbps I was getting with my last provider, PlusNet, owned by BT.
