hi guys

can anyone suggest a good catch and release water within an hours drive of london. ive tried haliford mere and thornwood and like them both but fancy something new .

You'll be hard to beat Farmoor 1 for value for money and quality of fish. Only 40 mins west of london..

Later in the year ,you could try one of O'Reillys or even my grayling days !
all catch and release,and great ways to meet and network with other anglers,many of whom are members here!

Farmoor 1 is temporarily closed, re-opening August bank holiday weekend.

frensham trout fishery near farnham, its small but has 4 small lakes and 1 larger. nice stock size and a fair few surprises. i used to fish it often before getting bitten by the small stream bug. cheers jon.
