Mine also arrived yesterday c/w 1 "free" polyleader & note. Will have to watch them so that I get my 3 issue extension on top of the 1 issue already given.

I don't think you can take any magazine seriously that runs tackle tests based on those that advertise with them. Why don't Bloke rods get tested as, whether or not they are sold on eBay, they are very popular brand in the market and should feature in tests? T&S recently ran a test of 10ft 7wt rods with no inclusion of the Bloke XL50 that many consider one of the best in this class.

I do not thnk you can takes tests seriously for above & other reasons.

I use them as a guide & make my own decisions.

Default Bloke Rods

Not sure how popular Bloke rods are? Have yet to see anybody using one. Did Bloke offer T&S a rod to test?

Any tests done are the opinion of the person doing it and each person has different opinions, therefore should be taken as a guide only.

Im sure if bloke sent a rod into a magazine for testing, it would get an opinion as others do.

Like all magazines, on every bookshelf in every shop it has adverts in it,h...l even this forum is full of it aswell,at least in a magazine they dont keep flashing on and off in your face.
