Hell all,

Has anyone fished Syon Park, London? I was thinking of heading over as i now live in London and was wondering what it was like?

It's somewhere to wet your line. Not the most inspiring place to fish by any stretch of the imagination, but it does get you out on the water.

I fished it on Sunday for a couple of hours, got my rod pulled a few times which is always good.

The fish are really good quality. Fin perfect, hard fighting and they do have a good head of doubles to chase after.

Give it a try...it's London's local water so we should be thankful that it's there.

I fished it a week ago and had my bag of four fish in an hour or so, try the blue flash damsel which is hot at the moment, but any thing to stimulate them will get them going.Dont stay in one place though, have a walk around , it will up your chances, try the entrance end after 2-3o/c
I might be down there on friday or Halliford mere but its hard work there at the mo

Obviously heathrow airport staff were on strike when you were fishing it and the airport was closed!

On a serious note i think it is a great water in which to fish and the atmosphere is friendly also as aforementioned, the fish quality is great.

Nice quality fish from 'Albury' stock.Yes,move around to find them.Seems they are still quite close to the surface-ie within 3 feet.B/F damsel,cats etc should score.Bailiff will put you right.

You cant miss me , im the guy who dosnt look like an angler and my body takes up to much space nearly always in black and carrying a rucksack & stool,big landing net ,two rods,loads of drugs"legal" ,booze, fags,bits & pieces that are no use to me or anyone and i look hard as nails"yer right"
