I found this one helpful when first starting out. It still has a place on my reading list occasionally

STILLWATER FLIES: HOW AND WHEN TO FISH THEM. Goddard (John) & others. 0713655356 | All Fishing Books | Coch-y-Bonddu Books

Try "The Pursuit of Stillwater Trout" by Brian Clarke- a bit dated now but still a classic, or alternatively the new version of "Trout from small stillwaters" by Peter Cockwill.
Happy reading

If you're fishing from a boat then Dennis Moss' Trout from a Boat is hard to beat.

Trout Hunting by Bob Wyatt although it's a bit more rivers than stillwater.
