Default A wasted journey

Hi Folks , is there anyone on here that could help me with river levels for the Derwent near Cromford?
After a 3 nearly 4 hour round trip, when I arrived at the river this morning it was up and chocolate brown.

Is there anyone that lives practically on the river and wouldn't mind giving me their phone number, so i can call before I head up in future?

PM me?

Thank you

Default Should have waited

The water was absolutely perfect tonight (about 8pm)

Loads of fish moving and feeding steadily including some better quality fish.

Wasn't fishing though.
