Hi just to get your attention first,would this be considered to be o.k. trying to get my grandchildren interested; the use of a 4m whip with a fly attached dapping for trout ,and before anyone changes the subject I don't mean whipping the the kids with a fly.

Could work with very small fish, but would be interesting if a four pounder grabbed the fly.

Take them to a put and take that has a small, well stocked pond with an 8ft fly rod.

..and make sure the weather is nice, bring drinks, crisps, sweets and Nindendo DS games too...
