Angry Stirling Road traveller camp

Hi Guys

As many in Falkirk area must know the travellers have turned up again in the car park next to the River Carron at the swing bridge Live and let live -yes but last time they left mountains of litter !

I took a walk along the river bank from the steps at the back of the cemetery to the swing bridge car park ........... couldnt belive my eyes

Human *hit and tissue/wet wipes all along the path and im taking LOADS and im taking right on the side of the path ! Dirty beggers could'nt even walk a few feet off the path ! Surely those responsible could dig a hole ?? Wouldnt mind that so much, theres no need for this at all !

I tried phoning the council today got bounced from department to department ended up sending them an e-mail they can forward around if they like

Im wondering what other action can be taken ?? Surely someones responsible to clean up this health risk ??

Really blooming mad

You if you are reading this.
Afraid they are the dregs of society in many cases. No, society not the right word, infers they are part of our society. If I had my way they would all be carted back to whence they came. In many cases ROI.

Social parasites that contribute nothing, but take everything they can. They are in the too difficult file for authorities to deal with.

Instead of going to the Council did you not go in the camp and ask them to move on or tidy the place up?
I am sure they would be more than happy to discuss the issues with you.

James I wasn't trying to be funny.
This thread reeks of racism and people making unfounded generalizations.
There are some anglers who leave all their rubbish on the river bank, what do we do,chase all anglers?

You having a laugh here.
unfounded generalizations?
Have you had any dealings with these people?

Have you had your loch netted of fish, boats sunk by smashing a boulder into them the night after I challenged them for poaching my loch, had the local farmer lose live stock. Washing lines stolen, garden sheds broken into, shoplifting sprees in the local supermarket. An old neighbour ripped off for £100s for a shoddy tarmac driveway & in another, conifers cut down & susequently dumped in a field a few miles away
Foul language & total disregard for local peoples way of living & values. Vehicles that are a danger to other road users. Last time they were here in Erskine the council had but some sleepers set in concrete to stop vehicles getting down to the waterfront walkway and what happened they arrived & low & behold the sleepers were cut with a chainsaw.
And the Police can or will not do anything as it is not worth their while, even if charged they get bail & promptly disappear.
All this happened in one small area of Renfreshire over the last two years.
When you have had that happen you come & tell me
"unfounded generalizations"

Well said Brian,

Those that know me, know my social background. Had the pleasure of even being invited into some forum members homes. Even managed to leave all their copper & lead intact.Truth be told I lived in a van from 0 - 7. Funny how people can be with regards to travellers, last bastion of racism left I guess.

The op has a valid point however, I can see how this thread is going to go. Shame really.

As for the parasite comment. When I was stood next to you at the Steve Rajeff show at Sportfish a couple of weeks ago. Did you see me act in a way as to be a parasite.

I was the fella eating a hedgehog. :No doubt our paths will cross again and when they do I shall be the fella offering my hand to shake. Then maybe you'll change your opinion.

Sean
