My home town , but didn't make it up there for Fancy dress this year.
It all started in the early 70's when I was a kid, I think to encourage the adults to participate in the carnival as well, and escalated from there.

Questions for Chickenfish

1 did you enjoy it?

2 Why are you heading out of the town when the party seems to be in full swing?

3 Did you make it up to the Clywedog?

1. LOVED IT!!!!! I go every year and it's always a fantastic night out. Very rarely any trouble and if you go back into the town at 8am the following day, there isn't a spot of rubbish to be seen and you wouldn't have known it had happened!! It's a real credit to the place & the people.

2. I'd forgotten my baby bottle!!! Seriously!!! I had a large plastic baby bottle filled with beer but left it in the car.....

3. Yes. Fished it on the sunday eve for a couple of hours. Had a few lovely little rainbows that were in fantastic nick.........that place has to be one of the best kept secrets in the uk....brilliant fishery and scenery doesn't get any better than that!
