Default Trout Fisherman Subscription Offer

On 3 Jun 10 I subscribed to TF when they were offering a Clear Ridge floating line. To be honest, it was the line I wanted more than the Mag but it seemed a very good deal at the time. While I have received my first mag I have yet to get the line. Having rung the publishers I was originally told to allow 28 but have just had another letter (10 Jul) saying it could be another 28 working days (6 weeks). They say that Airflo have not provided the lines for distribution!

Has anyone had the same problem?

ive had the same problem but with total flyfisher waiting on my 2 lines that they where offering for 2 months getting alittle hacked off with it if they cant supply them why the hell do they offer them as part of the deal

Never mind from what I have read about them they are excellent for tying up the runner beans.

I think you may have been unlucky I received the two lines within a few days after I renewed my subscription to TFF.
I haven't tried the floater yet but the intermediate has been used with some success, but I would class its sink rate on the fast side of intermediate.

I had no idea about this. I have emailed my superiors and sen them this link, hopefully we can get this resolved for you.
As for the lines holding up runner beans, I disagree, they are far better performers than some lines I could mention.

I must say they do make some very strange lines?

I had to return a ridge line recently, as it just would not float or remain supple, the coils would not go away even after streaching and some use.

The company gave me a new line (different type) without question.

I also returned a line to the lodge at Rutland. Buying it in the mistake thinking it was an old Shakespere one. It turned out the lodge informed me they has sold out to Airflow. This line was even worse, and for 17 squid a real carve up.
I brought a line from Stewart with the money back, and will give it a review on my site shortly. A Fly Fishermans Diary. as I like this line very much, but want to give it a fair trial!

Hope you guy's get sorted out soon, and the lines are decent. Let us know I'm still unsure about Airflow's lines. They seem very hit and miss!
