Default Camping Scotland

I am hoping to go away with a group of friends to scotland on a budget, for a long weekend in June/July and would like to camp near some reasonably inexspensive fishing, some of them are spinners but most fly fish. has anyone got any good suggestions?
Preferably not at the top of Scotland as some of us may drive from Devon, loch style fishing with a few feeder rivers would be an added bonus
Any suggestions will be gratefully appreciated.

Avoid the South Shore of Loch Earn if you have youngsters. Its a magnet for the Buckfast brigade!

One of the best places I have fished is Loch Lomond.

Its fished mainly for trout and some very big pike(free), its within easy reach of Glasgow.

If you head to ardlui and take the ferry over the loch, it takes you into some of most stunning scenery in Scotland.
The path is part of the West Highland Way, with lots cracking spots for free camping .
Just make sure you take plenty of supplies as there`s no shops.

Have to agree with Jim here, Rannock is really worth a visit, Haven`t fished it myself but it looks great.
I was up there a while back and took this picture.

fantastic photo, rannoch a good option...... and by the way primary colours, its not just the south shore, plenty tubes on the north shore of the loch too. In fact they can turn up anywhere.

The midges are a very real problem come the time you mention, great spot though if the wind keeps the wee beggars away.

Cheers
