Default looking for a good book to help me

Hi, i'm on the lookout for a good book which will help me understand more about things like trout behaviour, what flies to use in what conditions etc,im looking for a modern book not one from way back. I've seen peter cockwills trout from small stillwaters and thought it would be good, has anyone else on here read it and if so does it contain the kind of info im after? Maybe someone knows of a better one? Ive been fishing a while now and still having too many blank days So ive figured that instead of just throwing a fly out onto the water and hoping for the best the best way to increase my catch rate is to understand more about the trouts feeding habits and more about the fly life we encounter out there. ANY help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
