Thumbs up Which forumites live less than an hour from Buxton?

Because close to Buxton, there are little pods of wild trout in a very shallow, somewhat litter-strewn stream.

What this calls for is a Trout in the Town branch to look after and improve a short section of small stream.

So who is up for helping these little guys:

It wouldn't take very much effort at all to get some good stuff done on this one.

Is that a shopping trolley overhung with knotweed that I see before me?

Nurse, bring the injection guns and grapples... who's going in?

Four of us had a meeting yesterday in Buxton, organised by Paul. We were from: Sheffield, Matlock, Derby and Manchester.

Is there anybody from Buxton on the forum with an interest in the river Wye?

Thumbs up

Interesting spotting Paul. As long as what you do is above Buxton FFC and you think that Jan and I would be useful or you need our kit, we would be happy to join The Fellowship.

Dave, I called in at Errwood this morning to watch a pal who's joined the sailing club: hoped I might have bumped into you or Ian.

Hi Andrew,
You should of come down in the afternoon!

I think that trolleys only a 1/2 a mile from my house. I'll echo Growler_f's post.

Warren where does the Buxton FFC stretch start from?

Paul Re: The picture with the fish, did you just turn up and start fishing or did you ask for permission from ?????

Ian
