Default Fullers Earth

Hi Guys,

I read some where about making your own degreaser but I can't for the life of me remember the third part of the mix.

I recall the mix was fullers earth, green fairy liquid but i'm certain there is a third.

Any one help me out???

Cheers

Sorry old bean.

The fish must just have been on my side of the boat or as a great angler once said on Melvin "you must be over a ledge" bearing in mind it's 120ft deep

Default fullers earth

Ive used it for years and only use the fullers and fairy liquid , just make sure you put it in a sealed container such as a camera spool container, works perfect

Question Is glycerin worth getting ?

Never tried glycerin, I use a piece of vileda super cloth with fullers and fairy worked right into it while folding it and repeating it 3-4 times. it does dry out i think the glycerin prevents this however a quick dip in the water sorts it out. Can anyone say if glycerin would prevent my cloth from drying out ? Alan

Ive had mine in a tub since late last summer, and its still ok,maybe if you keep your cloth in an airtight tub it might help.

The reason glycerine was added originally was to keep the mixture from going to hard when exposed to air.
