neil, the wye is a lovely river and a tributary called the irfon has some magnificent grayling in.tickets available from the wye and usk foundation. if you want to stay by the river then you could do a lot worse than the cammarch hotel, you cant get closer to the irfon without getting wet.
have a great time and i hope the weather is kind to you. jon.

neil, email the WUF and get them to send you their passport. its free and will get you salivating as well as informing you of what fishing is available and when. they really cant help you enough and if you are over and the fishing is not good then a call to the office usually will put you on some fish. if you catch it right the fishing can be spectacular. there was also an article in T&S either last month or the month before about the irfon and the hotel. jon.

Plenty of grayling in the Irfon - plenty of big chub too, at the moment.
