Greys GRXI.......they ALL have a shelf life, as the material will break down eventually....GRXI'S are about £180ish ??? Very comfy and a good fit. I have Snowbee XS PRO boots with studs, so far an excellent buy..around £80 ?

I have heard of people spending more than that, but i dont think the guides spend anymore!!! they just write them off sooner.....

And you very likely could find a cheaper good wader, i just hate shopping.

With what fishing I do, I will be happy to get 3 seasons out of both......

My GRX are about 4 years old and are leaking at the seams.
This time I went for Bison on ebay for £60 new. Really impressed with the quality considering the price.

I bought Orvis endura from Orvis via the WWW. They leaked after one year. Up until then they were great. Sent them back to Orvis and will get them fixed or receive new ones (I hope) under the Orvis gurantee. I am not sure if you do get Orvis like gurantees with other manufacturers. Check before you buy.

Another vote for the bisons. I've had mine for a few years now and no signs of any leaks yet. Great value.

Steeliebum on US Ebay is Gorge Fly Shop, one of the best Mail Order Outfits over there, particularly with regard to UK Customers.

From time to time you will see Dan Bailey EZ-Zip and if you are the right size you can get a bargain. I got a pair, all legit, duty and shipping for £260 delivered and that was'nt when the £/$ was in our favour.

I also got the Waist Highs about three years ago in the States for about £150. IMO, it's worth having them shipped as they are as bomb proof as any BReathable can be. Virtually every Guide I saw was kitted out in them.

I remember reading on here where someone had written...

"There are two kinds of breathable waders. Those that leak and those that are just about to leak"

Absolutely spot on!

I go for Orvis due to the incredible warranty, because I know that sooner or later they will leak.

Yes Orvis in the sale, you get a good deal and the amazing warranty.

My go to winter tough wadars are Wychwood.
