Default Metcheck

Anybody able to use this site at the moment? Thought it was the best one for weather reports, but now appears to be incredibily unreliable.

Metcheck.com - Global Weather Forecasts - Weather Forecast for Derby - [Updated on 22 June 2010 at 20:00] - Weather Feeds - Live Data - Long Range Weather Forecasts

I stopped using it because it was getting hacked a few months back and the BBC weather was more reliable.

I find the problem with most weather forecasts is that they only use one model of charts, the BBC tend to use the GFS with a bit of UKMO thrown in. Metcheck certainly use the GFS although they lost a lot of cred when the owner (maybe now previous) was sent down for some dubious activity with younger people.

For a balanced view it is much more reliable and accurate to read the charts themselves, although it obviously takes a bit of learning with the GFS being generally ok for short term < 4 days and the ECMWF better at the long range outlook.
