Thinking of going to Loch Earn early July for a 2 day trip. Can anyone give details of good spots to head to and what to try ?

Cheers lads !

Problem with Loch Earn is the road running along one entire shore. Means it attracts all sorts of bampots...lots of multiple rods with bite alarms, litter and fires Would try and get away from that crowd and a boat is the obvious choice.

Best to PM Englander as he float tubes it off the cages

If your planning on going for a weekend my advice would be to wait until the 2nd weekend of july as most of these so called bampots will be a T in the park.
If your not going on the weekend then you'll only find session permit holders about . As for where to fish asking the bailiff where's fishing well when you get your permit will be your safest bet. If you go out on the boat then the bay where the crannog is can be good for hatches.
