I've been told it stands for Services dry fly fishing association and that is all i currently know

That's correct. I'm a member, and I have to say if you're serving or retired military it's an excellent association, well worth joining and extremely good value for money. If you're elgible drop me a pm and I'll send you contact info.

Unless you are ex services then dont waste your time, i have been down this road myself... spose you could join the TA and get in that way
