Default Rod rings help

i brought a rod and it has little indents on the rings they look like the fly line or somthing has burnt a little dent. Will i need to sort this out if so how?


will it damage my fly lines if i use it how it is

Yes, there is the potential to damage your lines and to 'cure' the problem you need to get the rod re ringed.

craig , scroll down on here steve does replacement for £1.50 per ring plus the cost of the ring ....

Dear Craig ,

If ever passing Nottingham - given warning I'll rering it on the spot and you can varnish it after at home.

Labour is £15 per hour plus cost of rings - take about 35 minutes at a guess and you can watch and have a lesson at the same time !

Chuck the rod away, sell the rest of your gear and buy this:

Garry Evans Fishing Tackle

Looks like a bargain.
