Default How long in customs?

How long have you ever had to wait for an item in Customs?
I just bought a reel from Todd at ReelFlyRod and it arrived and went into Customs on the 7th. It still hasn't left and entered the Parcelforce system.
I would have thought 4 days is ample time in customs to process, charge the 20 odd percent and forward to Parcelforce?

It's never been this long before..

Items are normaly held in customs for a reason, and their release can be expidited by contacting them to find out what they need. I send a lot of parcels overseas through work, and we have cases where parcels are held in customs because they need to see a original invoice etc. Give them a call and see what they need.

Todd, you know, the owner of ReelFlyRod.com online tackle dealer? Obviously a junior TT, if you don't know your purveyors of fine tackle!

As I've heard, he runs a good ship and does this sort of thing all the time; I can't see why there would be any complications. It's not like I asked for some sort of dodgy invoice declaring the value as £30 or anything...

Steven I can't wait to see the IR1, I have a feeling it'll knock spots off the Abel Platinum!!

Last reel I got from NY took about ten days all in.
Hope it arrives before the weekend.
S.
