Default vacancy?

Firstly Hello this is my first post and i need your help please

I am looking for a weeks break England/Wales for myself and wife

We would like a cottage with fishing on the doorstep! I will be the only one fishing and would like to try some river fishing but as its short notice any type of trout fishing would be nice.

We want to go this Saturday! The 12th June

Can any of you good people recommend anywhere?

Might even get lucky and get a cottage that does not mind smoking downstairs...

Thanks John

Hi BC,

We have that week available at our cottage on the Teifi. There's a couple of hundred yards of fishing at the end of our field that come free with the cottage -suits the family man who wants to sneak in an hour late at night or early in the morning. Check it out -LINK

If you'd like to spend more time on the river the cottage adjoins uninterrupted club water runs for several miles both up and downstream.

I've just put a Google map up on the Teifi Trout Association web site showing their newly acquired water

Hello

thank you for the reply,

That sounds and looks just perfect

May I ask how far from the house the fishing is and what type of fishing you would recomend , spinning, worming , fly or bring the lot!

Will waders be required?

Can you pm me a price for Saturday to Friday 6 nights hopefully leaving you the chance of a weekend booking.

And the chance of My wife going into Work on the Saturday...

Thank you John

Hi John, it's good for fly at the moment but take a full kit including waders to get the best out of the river.

The Teifi is a couple of minutes from the cottage, cross the road, walk down the field and you're there.
PM sent

Hi

Just got back from Alma House

the place is superb, thank you Colin for letting us stay.

Alma House, Abercych , a cottage with fishing on thTeifi. Contact.

I can honestly say its much nicer than the pictures

I would also recomened a day with the Teifi Guides

Teifi River Guides

I went for a full day ( well seven hrs ) with Harry and learnt a great deal and at only £12.50 an hr I thought it was money well spent.

I had loads of small brownies upto 3/4lb and on my last day I did some worming! I lost a sea trout of about 6-7lb !!!!!!! caught 1 @ 1.5lb ( which I returned and caught 1 about 2lbs this is th only fish I kept.

Thanks again Colin we really enjoyed our stay at your cottage

regards John

Ps I expect a discount now...

Cheers John, really pleased you had a good time.

There are a few fish about now, I hooked and lost a sewin on Friday night-wished I had more time to get out. Here are a couple of pictures to show you what the winter floods are like

Hi John,
I hooked the sewin on a size 8 black and silver hairwing at the tail of the pool in shallow water, floating line.
The cottage was great, thanks.
