can anybody help me i'm a member of a welsh fishing club in the s.wales area (around 60+ strong) we only stock around 150 to 200 fish a month (mainly rainbows) we also have afew brownies swimming around in our res.the question is does anybody have any ideas on getting some brownies reintroduced in our area (tredegar) free we would pay for transportof the fish but we are tight for cash and are looking at all options to us so we can get some brownies back. If we are lucky we will put all caught brownies back so that they may spawn future levels, we tried lottery money but no luck they would rather spend on some art project that no one is really interested in.Any help given or bodies to get in touch with will be greatfully recieved

Without knowing to much about your water and club I would say you should look at Joining the Wild Trout Trust as a club, then get an advisory visit off them, if you have browns breeding theret hen possibly some stock management and some habitat improvement that is manageable by the members is all thats needed. They will know how to get funding if available.
