Default Good leader.

Just inquiring, does anybody use any Relix, S-Plus performance nylon. I think it must be from the coarse fishing scene. Just found it after buying a 300m spool for a few quid from a car boot. Looked it up on google and found its only £3.99 for a 300m spool in all line sizes so have been using it recently and found its just as good as line that i would pay £10 for 100m of. Best of all the local tackle shop has it. Was a bit worried that the strength of the line with it being so cheap would result in breakages, but yesterday i received plenty of smash takes and didn,t get snapped so will be fishing with this nylon from now on because on a days fishing setting up 2 rods, including any tangles and setting up new leader, ill probably use anywhere up to maybe 15 metres.
Just wondering what leader you use when fishing multiple days every week because anglers who go very often ( lucky people ) must use a vast amount so will be quite costly. ck.

Default Leaders

I get the Leeda Selecta cast, 15 ft tapered leaders from Sportfish, I can use the same one on my line for a very long time, certainly all season, I'm retired and I fish very regular, never get a tangle or a break, I usually fish with a 3lb tippet, I do renew that pretty often "Sight free flourocarbon" I use Roman Moser tippet rings, wonderful things, saves a lot of messing about, I'm talking stillwater here, on rivers I use mrtrout's furled leaders, fantastic weapons hope this is of some help to you, Cheers...........

Hi, when i say leader material i,m meaning tippet as in your Sight Free flourocarbon which i dont think is partically cheap per 100m, i personally used the Rio Powerflex before but i,ii stick with this one now, ck.
