Default old fly box

hi lads am new to fly fishing so am building my gear up slowly today i was given a fly box which unfortunately was empty it is silver with loads of holes in it and slots to take 140 flies my fat fingers cant get in to get at flies i think the foam ones will be best for me just wondered if anyone new what make it is i think it must be old it has 1 long hinge and is in great condition unfortunately i cant get pictures on it wont let me any ideas.

Sounds like a Wheatley , in which case it will have the wheatley stamp on it . Spare parts are available from wheatley, I recently renovated my grandfathers dry fly box with new compartment hinge and lid .
