Default Which knot is this?

The following is a quote from a fly fishing book describing a knot which is used to tie a leader to fly line.
The fly line has had the 1" of outer plastic coating removed and a double overhand knot tied in it.
That I understand.
This is the quote referring to the leader,if anyone can decipher for me.
"At the end of all my leaders I make a loop with an overhand knot, the loop usually being about 1" in length. Make a lasso with the leader and loop and slip this over the end of the fly line and tighten it on the line side of the small knot."

Tenkara USA
Look at the way the leader is fixed to the tip of the tenkara rod.
Could be what you are describing.
