I have been there for a couple of years but I used to fish there quite a lot, the pools are mostly fairly small but well stocked and some are deep. Some pools offer nice clear water fishing and others have a bit of colour to them. The typical stock fish was between 1lb and 2lb but there were some very good fish in there as well.

It's quite a friendly fishery with a decent tackle shop and when I fished there had a good deal on a Sporting Ticket. I once caught about 30 there in a couple of hours by using small nymphs on light leaders.

Just one word of warning - it can take a bit of finding!

good look fishing cheshire, i have fished there about 100 times. best advice i could give you is to fish pool three on the far side about half way down using bloodworm and keep it close in to the bank ( no more than three foot out) using a slow figure 8 retrieve. there are always fish holding up there especially if it is difficult fishing. tight lines! sorry forgot to say facing the trees for the direction.
