Default Murky water flies?

Choice of fly advice please?

I’m fishing a water tomorrow which from memory has always been murky, almost muddy. Past visits there have been quite unsuccessful, apart from the odd lucky fish, which is not my preferred way. I’d at least like to have the impression that my technique used was successful.
So what flies for murky water? I would have guessed, bright, shiny, fluro ?

Darker flys should work well, the silhouette stands out better in coloured water.

In the main use Black or dark coloured flies , there sillhouette stands out much better in the murky water , a bit of flash here and there on them will do no harm.

Try a black fritz. Dark so its a silhouette but has a bit of flash to it as well.

I'd try fluorescent greens and yellows as well as black. A Viva might be just the dog's gonads.

The other thing worth trying is fishing more than one fly ( if allowed) spaced quite closely together. Where you would normally space droppers at say five feet apart, try droppers spaced 2.5-3 feet apart. As the other guys say fish Black and Olive are great colours in murky water...
