Wink Catching the Impossible on Channel 4

Catching the Impossible on Channel 4
Catching the Impossible is coming to Channel 4 soon!

The highly acclaimed angling series 'Catching the Impossible' is to be shown on Channel 4 starting on Sunday June 13th at 07:00 running through to August 1st. Watch for our rod licence adverts in the breaks.

The culmination of over five years filming by cameraman Hugh Miles sees Martin Bowler, Bernard Cribbins and friends attempt to catch 'impossible' sized specimens of many of our favourite fish.

Check them out or set the recorder - the programmes are sure to inspire you to pick up a rod and get out fishing. To find out more see

At last some good fishing on tv i hope

Best news I've had for a long time, according to the blurb Martin Bowler catches some absolutely stonking fish.

I had been spared to see another spring, and I thank God for it.”

Not as good as "A Passion For Angling", but excellent and enjoyable all the same. About time we had some decent fishing on main tv.
