Was out today at Rutland: no fish found in south arm, had a few pulls and odd fish rising in Barnsdale and Dickensons/north arm but very difficult. Contrast with 2 days at Grafham last week .....bleedy marvelous fishing to static/slow buzzer. Advice? get thee to Grafham.

cheers guys,
I will be travelling south on Friday from Glasgow to stay in Nottingham for a week so if Rutland does not switch on by next Wednesday I think I will be travelling the 70 or so miles to Grafham.
cheers again Geo.

Odds and Sods Eliminator on Sunday, so you will get a good idea what it's like after that. Bound to be covered on Fishypics.

Last Sunday it was not bad in the Vision Pairs - rod average over 4 - but it's definitely harder than Grafham has been recently.

Rutland is hard if you don't have a scooby, bit like me on Sunday.

And if you think the boats are having a tough time on Rutland you should have a go off the bank...

Fished the boat league on tuesday night, every one struggled. Quite a lot of us blanked, with the odd fish being caught here and there. Keith Jones won it, he didnt catch his first fish until 9pm, then took 5 in the next 20 mins or so, boats were back in by 9.25. The general feeling was the fish were high in the water, why they were not showing interest? I dont have an answer

Grafham is fishing its nuts off. I just had my three best days ever there. Last Tuesday I had literally a fish a cast.... a bit too easy really. However, it makes up for the days we dont get any.
Like others have said... static black buzzers working very well. Grafham is awesome at present some big fish too... my best being 4lb 8oz.
