Default Where can I buy quality trout flies on quality hooks

Hi

Can anyone point me to a UK supplier of quality trout flies tied on quality hooks. Best I've found so far are some patterns of the Fulling Mill (Orvis) range but there must be others.

Many thanks in advance.

Yep, hard to beat Flash Attack for quality and value for money.

Email Craig and quote PP01 for a 20% discount and free postage on any orders over £10.00.

Default Flies on line

Hi Buddie,

I use flies online based in Edinburgh, they use kingfisher flies etc and are really good, next day delivery etc.

Would stay away from the budget ranges but I spend a good few bucks with them a year and never had any problems.

Trout and salmon fishing flies online. 10% if you use the dicount
code on the e-mailed newsletter.

Default Superb craftsmanship

Cannot recommend Scratch’s flies highly enough, his buzzer patterns in particular are nothing short of stunning and unique in many respects.

All tied using top quality hooks, what’s more his prices will not break your bank. Check out his patterns and prices on this site.

You can always tie them yourself.

I tie my flies on Kamasan, Sprite and Partridge hooks.

I've only bought from Scratch on the forum but would have to agree on the comment about captain scarlet based on his photo's. You could also try a speculative thread in the flytying section stating what you are after and you might get someone willing to put some together for you. It would take a little longer than an off the shelf order but IMO you would probably end up with better flies.

I've just done a box of 45 salmon flies for a mate of mine, he bought most of the materials and hooks added to what materials I have so his outlay would have been about £40, he gets a nice box of flies and I can keep the surplus materials, this kept me entertained for about a month which suited us both as he was in no hurry and I don't have bags of spare time at the moment.
