Default Fishing Today...NUTS!!!!

Well 22 degrees was the forecast with no cloud 2day...more like 27 to be honest, anyhow lets just say it was the hottest day so far this year.Headed to springwater with future son inlaw and his pops and his bro(not a cloud in sight)...it was dam warm and getting warmer by the minute. So arrived around 10:am and it was hot and faced with flat calm conditions
Went with my usual tactics and had swirls and no takes..bit of a re-think and tried a foam suspender and got one

Is this a public service announcement to watch out for sun burn or an advert for lotions?

Nice ta see ye had a positive skirmish on the silver ripples.

not knocking you bigtrout, (or should that be redskin trout) as you did well in difficult conditions, but every one of those fish has a deformed upper jaw!!
where were they caught, and indeed stocked from?
regards

Hi Bert.......first time in 10yrs i fished this place, not sure on the stolking but all the fish were caught 10ft or less from bank,...apart from one with no fins i would say weight loss on others means they have been there for a while....anywere you stood on bank fish were swimming past you,..always a sign of loads of fish in a fishery.
