No, you are rightly pleased.
Issues arise when a company advertises items for sale that they don't have in stock and have no influence over when that stock will be available.
You struck lucky. Whether, in your opinion an item is 'non essential' is neither here not there ... if goods are advertised for sale there should be a reasonable expectation that they are available for delivery. Unfortunately, Atkins are developing a reputation for debiting customer's cards when they don't have items in stock and an equal reputation for trying to ignore the situation when pursued by customers for a resolution date.
Not a recipe for long term success I'd suggest.
