i just want to beat my best of 4lb say 8lb would be nice.Ive fished stonebridge twice now and didnt reckon much to it im afraid and doubt ill go back.
they are suppose to only stock it 3lb and about but theres plenty in there well under 2lb i know cos ive caught them all.

Most small waters talk boll*cks about their average size of fish.....except Lechlade!

Pennine would be the closest to you?????

I heard that Jubilee lakes near Darlington has some big fish in it. as does Pennine. If i were you i'd head for a clear water fishery and go stalking. If ever you're daahn sarf give me a PM i'll gladly take you out for a day to smash that PB!

Cheers
Alex

I'd recommend Arnfield - a good average size coming out of there, as well as some monsters.

Had my pb of 6lb out of there 2 weeks ago

Arnfield is a very good fishery and the chance of a big fish, however if you want to beat your pb, then pennine is perhaps your best bet, would personally rather fish Arnfield out of the 2, average bigger fish at pennine but better scenery and fish quality at Arnfield.

Stonebridge can be a difficult water, as far as doubles go............. there in there, i carn't remember how many i've returned, but it's a lot !.
Only a couple of weeks back i ran an Airflo team match there........ and two absolute beauties came out.
One of them may well even sneak the biggest fish prize through out the comp.
