Corrib sounds like a nice place to test them so i may keep them for a rainy day now.

Ray, from the way this season has been going I think you are coming at a perfect time. The weather is promised good so if you like dry fly and buzzer fishing you should be in business, was out on Sunday but we still had the north winds, I did manage 3 nice fish on nymphs. This weekend sees a rise in temps and a return to south west winds, there are still plenty of buzzers and olives hatching as well are the mayfly bounty. Where are you basing yourself, this will have a big bearing on how and what you fish.

I'm staying with a friend out the Glam Road in Oughterard.

By the way there are three of us fishing out of two boats so room for one more if anybody is interested. Fishing Thursday, Friday and Saturday. PM me your contact details if you are interested.

Mayflies in green and yellow
dabblers green, golden olive and silver and Tucks variant
green peter, golden olive bumble all in size 10.

That should give you plenty of action.
