Default Help splitting line

Hi help needed I got a plat XD floating line with the peach head and orange back after very little use it started cracking so took it back and got a new one, only had this one about 8 weeks and were the color changes the outer casing as split about 1" long and looks like it is thinner on one side and about 3" away from that there is another very small split, all my other lines are OK and have had loads more use, the rod is my plat XD which is in mint condition all the rings are OK, anyone no who i might ring to see if i can get it replaced number etc i don't want to take it back to the shop were i got it as iv already had an exchange of the lad who was very good.
or any ideas of how to repair it to seal it to keep the water out iv tried heat shrink on another bit of old line but it don't really want to stick.

Punctuation dude, slow down! No offence intended but it turns rant into readable.

Return the line, if necessary cite the Sale of goods act - it is not fit for purpose. The retailer will recover the cost from the manufacturer. If you want to keep the retailer sweet - good plan - buy a different brand alternative from them.

Nor I (Oxford). Use the refund money from the return of your defective line to purchase a replacement.

Indeed, as Bruce says, try a Pirates. You'd get two for that price from him.

Indeed, my 444 Lazer has seen better days and I have recently ordered a Pirates line

Cut the defective part out and re splice the section together again.
That’s the best way.
