Default Oh well.....

Bit depressed about the Tories back in Downing Street.

Went fishing.

Caught a couple of nice trooties on the dry fly

despite unhelpful drought.

It helped.

A fine tune - Peter Green and Fleetwood Mac wasn't it !!?

And I think we've just passed a political watershed and it ain't ever likely that you'll see a New Labour Government again - the left coalition is going to split because dear gordon has quite effectively managed to get rid of the traditional working class ( who are now based in China ) - his voters won't take that long to figure it out !

This marks the rise of the soft left and the decline of the hard .

Tell me I'm wrong in 4 years !

Be lucky and don't ever forget - they know where you live !

Lets give them a chance to form a sensible "GOVERNMENT" between them!!

You never know? It may be the "LIBERATION" this country needs.

Too bloody right there Steve!

Labour brainwashed too many people into thinking that they should all go to University and that they will all get jobs with their degree in 'Media Studies' (whatever that is) and quickly become millionaires!

Now, the thought of packing shelves, waitoring or working in engineering and dirtying their manicured nails is far too beneath them and these jobs go to the Poles and other Eastern Europeans who dont mind so-called 'menial' jobs.

Just wait and see what happens when their benefits are cut for refusing these jobs............it will be mass xenophobia because non-Brits have 'stolen' their jobs

I have a Russian and three Poles working for me as Document Controllers. Their work ethic far surpasses most young Brits that have come through my door and they certainly dont grumble at working from 8am until 6pm. Ask most people under the age of 26yrs old to do that and they would faint on the spot!

Labour infused too many youngsters (and others) with a sense of entitlement and a sense of 'this is my right' and they seemed to have lost and sense of respect for their elders and their peers for that matter!

Bring back the cane

With the Tories having departed the extreme right hinterland where Thatch and Normo Tebbs would have them reside, I find the current govt less unpalatable than would otherwise be the case, especially as they have a moderating influence with the Lib Dems at their side. Depressing all the same though.

The notion that Gordon Brown destroyed the British working class is risible. In so far as it can be put down to any one person (and it can't), Thatch wins that prize. Depressingly, she'd probably be rather glad of it. As my 11-year-old daughter asked, why don't they kick her out of her care home, call it Care in the Community, and see how she likes it!

Fishing is indeed the only antidote. As a fishing friend pointed out in consolation, at least the trout will still be rising under the Tories.

At least the Tories will likely protect Country sports given that many probably have large country estates
