Default Test Valley Angling Club

I was wondering whether anyone on here was a member of this club or perhaps knows anything about it. I am considering joining primarily for the Grayling fishing in the winter on their stretch of the Test and possibly the Fishlake Stream (although I've never heard about this stream/river). Any info would be much appreciated! Cheers N

A collegue of mine is a member , he is a coarse angler, he said although the trout and grayling fishing is good, you have to book the beats in advance (2 rods at a time) and that casting might be an issue for the fly angler

I have heard the same as Icky; the guy I know has had grayling to 2-4 long-trotting bait from the club's stretch of the Test below Timsbury, so the rewards are potentially there.

Cheers guys, I like the look of the club and enjoy trotting for Grayling so it's something I will consider further. Provided I make it down around 5 time a season it works out quite reasonably when compared to paying for the equivalent number of trips at places like Timsbury or Lower Itchen. Don't suppose anyone has ever fished the Fishlake Stream?

Icky, did you get my pm by the way? N
