Default buzzer help required

I have never fished a buzzer. Honest!

I have been lead to believe that now is the time to introduce myself to this missing part of my knowledge and I need your help, please. I have been told, also, that I will catch a bucketload!

How, exactly, do you use this pattern? Floating line slowly retrieved? Sinking line and inch it along the bottom? Indicators? Let it hang in the surface film?

Thanks
