Default Why is this site in Afrikaans?

It seems to take me to www.flyforums.co.uk/af which translates everything into Afrikaans - and google translates it back into English, so it's wholly incomprehensible.

What settings can I change? Is this a practical joke on new members!?

Maybe it's the Boer war all over again....and we're winning this time. It's revenge for you giving us the landrover.

I find the default to Afrikaans/Cape-Dutch disconcerting on clicking on the flag of multi-cultural RSA.
Colonial Boer influence still overiding - the minority language of white oppression.

Admin - can we have isiZulu instead? More widely spoken....

isiZulu may have the most votes, but I was wondering if Afrikaans could form a coalition with isiXhosa, a 'progressive language alliance' if you will, to form one stable and sustainable language?
I hear they are having secret talks...
