Default Fishing lochs Eye, Craggie, Merkland & Shin

Hi Everybody
I am planning a trip to Southerland (Lairg) 11th to 15th June to fish Loch Eye, Craggie, Merkland & Shin (Overscaig). Can anybody give me any advice on tactics, flies, particular areas to fish etc. I would like as much info as possible. I have fished Craggie and Shin before but advice from anybody who fishes them on a regular basis would be welcome. I have fished Merkland once and never did that well and I have never fished Eye so any info about these two lochs that could help me catch a few fish would be very welcome.

best regards

crestie

Merkland ,fish where the big river goes in or down the other end where the wee lonesome tree stands ,green peter worked well for me a dunkeld also did well
Shin ,if you get through the gate at the top end go round to the power station and fish it down towards the overscaig had a few good days on that stretch ,if the rivers are flowing well try where both of them come into the loch but watch the wading as its quite boggy up there ,only downside was the last time i was there we caught a load of salmon smolts ,flies sedgehogs did well as did olive and claret bumble
