Dear Denis,

Have a word with the Tutor who set you this little PhD thesis and remember the idea is for you to read all the books and then do some - not to bother us with a lifetime study !

Best wishes

Steve P

1).Why are flies attractive to Fish ?
Mine often aren't

2).Is there a difference between Artifical Fly and Natural to a Fish ?
Although I've never heard a fish confirm a difference I'm pretty sure that one of them causes them problems, the other doesn't.
3).What impact has casting in Fly Fishining?
In my fishing there is usually unwelcome 'impact' both on the water and adjacent trees.

4).What is the benefit of fly fishing ?
It keeps me poor and stops me wasting money on less important peripheral frippery.

5).Do techniques of fly fishing deffer in different water types (Fresh Water, Salt Water, Hot/cold/cool Waters) ?
Yes. That's helpful isn't it?

6).What economic benefits has Fly fishing in Sweden or in other countries ?
Sweden has Abba and doesn't need any other benefits.

7). Is fly fishing more as an attraction or hobby ?
Insulting question and one that displays a complete lack of understanding. Fly fishing is a way of life.

Thank You
You're welcome.

i can get these out of the way fast for him

q1, because they eat them!!!!!!!
q2, dont know, try posting them a silly survey and ask them yourself
q3, generally, if you dont cast, you dont put a fly on the water. this reduces your chance of catching a trout dramatically.
q4, you're obviously not married are you?
q5, let me see, that 4" tarpon lure may just work on a wild welsh brownie.
q6, try posting on a swedish fly fishing forum and ask them. allthough i think you'll find you'll get similar answers to those posted here.
q7, why dont you actually try fly fishing yourself before posting an idiotic survey. you may even enjoy it!!!!!

as an obvious non fisherman, why bother posting a pointless set of questions with very obvious answers?

Well answered Lighthouse. I particularly like and fully agree with number 4.
