It's seems to be at a point were the olives and big buzzers are either nearly over (bad seasonal hatch) or just starting (good seasonal hatch). Was out on Wed and have 7 with 2 fish over 4, but a few of the lads were out yesterday and had nothing. We went to Mask and only had one small fish, weather has been **** and I'd say a return to southerly winds and rain will breath new life into the lake. Good news is the mayfly have started, a friend picked 5 dozen off rabbit on Friday. We seen about a dozen on Mask yesterday. If the weather improves I'd say you will get decent buzzer and olive fishing at the weekend. One thing I will say with the big freeze at the start of the season and north/east winds since, is that there has been a hugh amount of trout saved in the lake, everybody's catches have been down due to weather, if you get warm days with a few showers in light winds the lake will fish it's head off, no question. Hope you have a good couple of days.
