Wouldn't say I'm a regular these days but I did fish it intensively a while ago and, yes, it fishes well all year round apart from mayfly time. Good duckfly early season and, like most places, buzzers will work most of the time. We used to have fun during the Mayfly by fishing the buzzer in the evenings while waiting for the cruisers to come to the Spent Gnat.
Not sure about the Green Peter hatch these days but a few years ago it was great, as well as smaller sedges in the evenings. Terrestrials in late season are fun, specially the Daddy and there were beetles which appeared during the summer which the trout ate in large numbers
but were difficult to imitate. I do have a pattern somewhere which worked but I'm sure some of the local guys would have something which they could recommend to you.
