Default best buzzer

I would have to go for a size 12 bibio buzzer, which i used last weekend to catch a number including my double
i would say it is only lightly varnished maybe 2 coats. Tried various colour but still think black has the edge.

A, size 14, black suspender buzzer with a fine silver wire rib and a single, size 12, bibio buzzer fished on a long leader.

For me the whole bibio influence/idea came from watching hywel morgan dvds and they definelty work in their various fly guises.

Near perfect buzzer on the top, Heavy black and red holo buzzer on the point and a Diawl bach in the middle. I rarely need to use anything else when fish are taking pupae under the surface.

In a letter in the Trout & Salmon England international John Emmerson makes reference to "Curly's" brown headed buzzer, this has got to be tried, believe me.
