Default NATURAL ALTERNATIVES USED IN FOR THE WASHING LINE TECH

Was wandeing if anyone uses a natural fly when using the washing line technique? traditionally bobbies seem to be used just wandered if the fish are feeding on natural food if a more natural alternative this is more productive? wandered about a suspended buzzer? never used them yet
cheers jon

If i could not use a booby then it would be a muddler.

Sometimes I replace the booby with a foam body daddy long legs.
Put plenty of gink on it.

Yup, foam backed daddy washing line works a treat on many venues.

Default ideas

After fishing last weekend i tried the washing line using a booby and their was clearly a hatch on and they never responed. i wander if they would have using an natural alternative? i did think about both the muddler and daddy (AFTER THE EVENT) ). will definetly give them a go to.
also does it make much of a difference were you place the bouyant fly? re. point, dropper, top?

Conventional wisdom would put the buoyant fly on the point kenster.

Default fish not playing game

Steve have always thought this but wondered if anyone has messed around experimented putting the bouyant fly elsewhere and if it affected/improved results in certain situaions? as we all know fish don't always (ever!!!) read the script.
