Default Corixa

I fished with this pattern for the first time on Monday and found it to be very effective. Anyone else using this little beauty?

Great fly, very underated/used pattern in my opinion.

Can be deadly on the waters I fish if the trout are seen cruising about with their dorsals out of the water. Corixa is the first fly out of Pandoras if I see that going on............................birdsnest

What's the best way to fish it? And is it a fly for particular conditions or season?

This is the pattern I've been using for sometime.

Thanks Birdsnest I had forgotten about the uses of this fly; I seem to recall to fish it on a very short leader approx 12in
